Black Hat & DEF CON: Running XBOW Live, Presentation Slides, and The Talk You Didn’t Miss
A recap of our week at Black Hat and DEF CON, where we put XBOW to the ultimate test: running it live against real targets and discovering dozens of vulnerabilities.
Black Hat & DEF CON: Running XBOW Live, Presentation Slides, and The Talk You Didn’t Miss
Wow, what a week! We're still buzzing from the energy at Black Hat USA and DEF CON 33.
It was incredible to connect with so many of you who are just as passionate about the future of cybersecurity as we are. The highlight for us was putting our autonomous penetration testing platform, XBOW, to the ultimate test, running it live against real targets.

Dozens of Vulnerabilities, Discovered Live
We ran XBOW live against real HackerOne targets, and the results were stunning. In real-time, our platform discovered dozens of vulnerabilities and produced a proof-of-concept exploit for every single one. Seeing your reactions to the live demo, and the sheer power of an autonomous system in action, was a huge motivator for our team.
Sharing Our Insights
Our own Brendan D-G gave a popular talk titled "AI Agents for OffSec with Zero False Positives," where he dove into how we use AI agents to slash false positives in offensive security. For those who couldn't make it, the slides are now available here.
You actually didn’t miss it: Our DEF CON talk
We were also scheduled to present a talk, "Prompt. Scan. Exploit: AI’s Journey Through Zero-Days and a Thousands Bugs" with our researchers Diego Jurado Pallarés and Joel Noguera. Despite the technical issues that kept speakers from sharing their presentations, XBOW’s bug bounty journey is too good not to share. We’ll record Diego and Joel’s talk and share it in an upcoming post!
Missed Us in Vegas?
If you didn't get a chance to see us at Black Hat or DEF CON, we've got you covered. We're hosting a virtual session on Wednesday August 20 to do another live demo and product briefing of XBOW and give you a peek behind the scenes. You can register here.
Thank You
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked great questions, and pushed our platform to its limits. The future of autonomous offensive security is here, and we're excited to be building it with you.
